Graeme McDowell heads into Monday's delayed final-round action at the OHL Classic as joint leader with Scotland's Russell Knox, after play was suspended due to darkness with the Northern Irishman through 13 holes.
McDowell birdied the 13th to move neck and neck with Knox and set up a Monday morning shootout in Mexico.
Chasing his first top-10 on Tour for more than a year, G-Mac was six-under for his truncated round and in flying form.
He sits on 19-under-par for the tournament, with American Jason Bohn two shots back from the leading pair.
American journeyman Derek Fathauer, who grabbed the first 54-hole lead of his PGA Tour career at Mayakoba on Saturday, is on 15-under, alongside compatriots Patrick Rodgers and Scott Brown.
