Henry Shefflin has bolstered his Galway senior hurling backroom team with the additions of Damien Joyce and Kevin Lally.
Shefflin was appointed as manager of the Tribesmen last month on a three-year term with fellow Kilkenny native Richie O'Neill the first confirmed member of his coaching team.
The county board has now announced that former Galway captain Joyce, who was also part of their 2017 Liam MacCarthy Cup-winning backroom team, will join the set-up as will Lally who led St Thomas' to three county titles in a row between 2018 and 2020.
Lally also coached the Galway side that won last year's All-Ireland minor title and reached this year's final.

Meanwhile, Brian Hanley is set to take over as manager of the Galway Under-20s.
Galway GAA confirmed the former All-Ireland-winning minor manager along with his proposed backroom team have been recommended for the role on a three-year term subject to ratification at the county's next management committee meeting.
