Galway's All-Ireland winners Aoife Donohue and Niamh Kilkenny have been nominated for the Camogie Association/GPA Senior Players' Player of the Year Award, alongside Hannah Looney of runners-up Cork.
Half-forward Donohue (0-01) and midfielder Kilkenny (0-02) were both on target in the Tribeswomen's dramatic All-Ireland final victory when Looney also hit two points from midfield.
Maeve Kelly and Roisin McCormick have been nominated for the Intermediate Players’ Player of the Year Shortlist from champions Antrim, as has Sarah Crowley from finalists Kilkenny.
The Premier Junior Players’ Player of the Year final three also features two from the winners, Aideen Brennan and Chloe Cashe of Wexford, and Ciara Donnelly from runners-up Armagh.
Players who were members of an intercounty panel participating in this year’s championship will now be invited to vote for their Player of the Year based on the final shortlists and the overall winners will be announced on the night of the Camogie All-Stars Awards on 26 November.
Galway scooped 12 of the 36 nominations for the All-Star team, which were announced last week.
