Galway wing-back Sinead Burke has confirmed her retirement from inter-county football.
The 31-year-old Oughterard woman made her senior debut back in 2007 and walks away having won nine Connacht SFC titles, lifting two of those as captain. Burke also won All Stars in 2018 and 2019.
Her last game for the Tribeswomen was December's controversial All-Ireland SFC semi-final defeat to Cork at Croke Park.
"Thank you for all the memories but more importantly thank you for all the amazing people I've met, played with/against along the way," she tweeted.
"To my family, friends and fiancé who have travelled every corner of the country to support. It was fun while it lasted."
