Ten-time All-Ireland-winning manager Eamonn Ryan has linked up with the Limerick ladies as part of a new look backroom team ahead of the 2020 season.
The former Cork ladies boss comes on board in a mentoring role to work alongside the new Limerick manager Donal Ryan, whose appointment was confirmed at a county board meeting on Tuesday night
He replaces John Ryan, who resigned from the position in September.
The ex-Rebels manager brings plenty of experience and success to his new role with the Shannonsiders. He guided the Cork ladies to an incredible 10 senior All-Ireland titles in 11 seasons during his time in charge.
He stepped down from his position in 2015 and subsequently took up a role in the Cork's men's backroom team under then-manager Peadar Healy. He remained in that role until 2018 before stepping away.
Limerick will compete in the junior championship next year after suffering relegation from the intermediate grade this year.
