Wexford hurler Diarmuid O'Keeffe and Donegal's Jamie Brennan have been named the PwC GAA/GPA Players of the Month for June.

O'Keeffe played a key role in his side's march to a first Leinster SHC title in 15 years, landing two points from play against Kilkenny in the final at Croke Park.

A Wexford stalwart, O'Keeffe has been a consistent performer for Davy Fitzgerald's side who also played out a draw against 2018 All-Ireland finalists Galway.

Wexford will now take on the winners of Tipperary and Laois in the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday 28 July.

Meanwhile, Donegal forward Brennan lands the individual accolade following an impressive championship campaign so far.

He kicked 1-04 in their comprehensive win over Cavan which secured back-to-back Ulster titles for Declan Bonner's side last month. His goal came at a time when Cavan were threatening a fightback in Clones, finding the net with less than an hour played to put the contest beyond doubt.

Donegal have been drawn in Group 1 of the All-Ireland Super 8s and will begin their round-robin series with a home tie against Meath on Sunday.
