Ahead of their crunch Leinster SHC clash with Galway at Parnell Park on Saturday, Dublin have received a boost with the news that Shane Barrett has been cleared to play.
Barrett picked up a straight red card in the win over Carlow a fortnight ago, but an appeal to the Central Hearings Committee saw that decision overturned.
The defender is now set to take his place ona Dublin side that most likely need to win against Galway or else they will be eliminated from both the provincial and All-Ireland race.
Not such good news for the Tribesmen though as John Hanbury failed to have the red card he was shown overturned from last Sunday's victory over Kilkenny.
