Paul Mannion has been cleared to play for Dublin in their Leinster SFC semi-final on Sunday after having a ban overturned at a Central Hearings Committee last night.

All-star forward Mannion was dismissed in the 25th minute of the quarter-final defeat of Louth after catching Conal McKeever with his shoulder.

Jim Gavin aired his unhappiness with the decision after the game and the All-Ireland champions requested a hearing to appeal the one-match suspension handed down.

That appeal has been successful, the CHC ruling that the alleged infraction of "behaving in a way which is dangerous to an opponent" could not be proven.

Brendan Donaghy meanwhile is out of Armagh's Ulster semi-final replay against Cavan.

He was dismissed in the drawn game for an off the ball incident and his suspension was upheld at last night's hearing.
