Mullinalaghta’s fairytale journey will bring them next to Thurles for their All-Ireland semi-final against the mighty Dr Crokes of Kerry.

The tiny club from north Longford upset the odds when they beat Kilmacud Crokes to win the Leinster title – a first for a club from the county.

And now they take on the aristocrats from the Kingdom, two-time All-Ireland champions, at the home of hurling in Semple Stadium. Throw-in on Saturday, 16 February is at 3.30pm.

The first semi-final between defending champions Corofin and Donegal’s Gaoth Dobhair is in Carrick-on-Shannon with a 1.30 start.

The two All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship semi-finals take place the week before, Saturday, 9 February.

First up is St Thomas of Galway against Antrim’s Ruairí Óg in Parnell Park at 3.0 and then at 5.0 it’s Kilkenny powerhouse Ballyhale Shamrocks against Ballygunner from Waterford.
