Orla Cotter had no qualms about stepping up to take the vital free that ultimately clinched victory for Cork in a tense All-Ireland senior camogie final against Kilkenny at Croke Park.
The awarding of the free was in itself controversial as Kilkenny's Julie Ann Malone was harshly penalised for fouling Cotter. With the game into injury time the latter sent the placed ball between the posts to secure back-to-back All-Irelands for Cork, and a 28th success in total.
Afterwards, a clearly delighted Cotter was just happy to have got over the line.
"It was point for point and it could have gone anyway," she told RTÉ Sport.
"All year, we have been trying to improve our workrate, getting in those hooks and blocks and it stood to us towards the end.

As to what went through her mind, before she took the free that won her side the game, Cotter added: "I didn't mind I was taking it. Some fella told me it was a controversial free and I didn't mind, I was going to take it either way.
"We could have got a few other controversial frees during the day so look we'll take it, it went over the bar. I was happy enough.
"I missed an easier one earlier. I knew there was only a minute or so left but I was just praying it went over and it did. I suppose myself and Chloe [Sigerson] put in plenty of time before training most days practicing our frees.
"Chloe hit some lovely ones today so it was fantastic.
"It's heartbreaking for Kilkenny, it's two years in-a-row and you must acknowledge that. They're a fantastic team."
