Cork captain Seamus Harnedy has emerged as a late doubt for the Rebels ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland hurling semi-final against Limerick at Croke Park.

With Mark Ellis having resumed full training recently after picking up an injury against the Treaty men in June, John Meyler appeared to only have concerns over squad members Patrick Collins (back) and Darren Browne (hamstring), but the Irish Independent reports that the St Ita’s man picked up a minor hamstring injury in a recent challenge game against the Cork U21’s.

Harnedy has been a key member of a potent Cork attack this season, plundering  3-14 in the four Championship outings to date, though was held scoreless by the Limerick defence in the Munster round-robin clash at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
