Cork defender Mark Ellis has resumed training and is available for selection for the upcoming All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Limerick.
The half-back has not featured since picking up an injury in the Munster round-robin draw with the Treaty men in June, subsequently missing the games against Waterford and Clare as the Rebels claimed provincial honours.
Meyler confirmed Ellis' return to the fold and allayed fears over Darragh Fitzgibbon and Robbie O’Flynn after the pair picked up knocks in the U21 Munster final victory over Tipperary.
"Mark Ellis trained over the weekend, he should be okay," he told RTÉ Sport.
"Darragh was sick coming into the Munster final against Clare. He’d an infection and was on antibiotics before the Munster final and Robbie will be fine. He’s trained properly, he’s trained fully, there’s no problem."
Squad members Patrick Collins (back) and Darren Browne (hamstring) are in a race to be fit for the Croke Park clash and Meyler says his team need to be ready for a "mobile and hard-working" Limerick side who saw off Kilkenny at the weekend.
"I said to my wife, I think we are playing ourselves because I think it is quite similar the way we play the game.
"We need to match them and go one step further."
Cork will enter the game undefeated and buoyed by the provincial final defeat of Clare. in which they fought back after a difficult opening half hour.
"Over the five games in the Munster Championship, this Cork team showed great character, heart, energy and resilience. To come out on top after five matches was a true reflection of the abilities of the players.
"We have to build on the performance. At times we were patchy, but we need to get that right for Limerick."
