Pete McGrath has been appointed as Louth's new football manager.
The former Down All-Ireland-winning manager was ratified by the county board for a two-year-term.
McGrath, somewhat surprisingly, stepped down as boss of Fermanagh in July after taking charge of the Erne men for three seasons.
The previous Louth incumbent, Colin Kelly, who declined to seek an extensive to his tenure in June after their qualifier defeat to Longford, was tonight ratified to the Westmeath senior position.
He takes over from Tom Cribbin.
Meanwhile, Kevin McStay has been handed an extension of two years at the helm at Roscommon with an option of a third year.
