Dublin have received a boost ahead of next weekend’s All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry after the GAA downgraded Eoghan O’Gara’s red card from the Donegal game to yellow following an appeal.
The forward was dismissed for ‘striking with the hand’ soon after coming on as a substitute in the quarter-final victory.
However, on review the Central Hearings Committee found the evidence produced disclosed the offence of ‘rough play’, which is a yellow-card offence.
The Templeogue Synge Street clubman will now be available for Jim Gavin’s All-Ireland champions on 28 August.
