RTÉ GAA analyst Joe Brolly has warned Kerry will "blitz" nearly every county that steps on to the field with them at Croke Park this summer after their clinical destruction of Roscommon.
The Kingdom were irresistible as they swept into an Allianz Football League Division 1 decider with Dublin thanks to a 3-15 to 0-14 success against the Rossies.
Speaking on RTÉ's Allianz League Sunday, Brolly lauded their "glorious" kick-passing and lethal attack, but also noted that Eammon Fitzmaurice has added real balance to his impressive side, which makes them mean at the back and clinical going forward.
"Kerry are at that level now, like Kilkenny, where they're playing against themselves," said Brolly. "Players are hitting their mark and if they're not hitting their mark they're not playing.
"They defend like Donegal, but they attack in a way that's unique to Kerry now" - Joe Brolly
"They've got glorious kick-passing skills, they attack beautifully and you've got to be right in their face and have very strong plans for them. Otherwise you'll be blown away.
"They defend like Donegal, but they attack in a way that's unique to Kerry now - that rotating system in the forward line. It's very, very difficult to deal with.
"Any lesser team that steps up against Kerry in Croke Park is going to be blitzed. For them the opposition is largely irrelevant. Not when it comes to Dublin, and Tyrone I think are going to be a huge force in this championship, but bar two or three teams..."
Former Armagh captain Jarlath Burns said Roscommon can learn from a painful defeat at Croker, one which can make them stronger going into the summer.
"All neutrals are willing them to go to Croke Park and to win," he said. "Part of the initiation ceremony or making the breakthrough is going to Croke Park and being hammered by Kerry. It's not shjock therapy for any of us to have that experience.
"Dublin, Cork, Meath, Kildare, Armagh, Monaghan - we've all gone to Croke Park and been hammered by Kerry. You learn lessons in small games and you give lessons in big games. Kerry learned from the way Roscommon played them in Fitzgerald Stadium and gave a masterclass today."
