While happy to have reached the Allianz FL Division 1 final, Cork forward Colm O'Neill has tried to dampen down expectations ahead of the decider against Dublin.
The Rebels ensured their progression with a 4-11 to 0-19 win over Donegal at Croke Park on Sunday, with O'Neill netting two of the goals. However, the Ballyclough clubman felt the main focus for Rory Gallagher's outfit lay elsewhere.
Speaking to RTÉ Sport, he said: "In fairness, Donegal probably had one eye on the championship (they play Tyrone on 17 May), so we can take the win with a pinch of salt really.
"They have been there or thereabouts for the last few years and they'll have huge say in the championship later on. We won't get too carried away."
That said, O'Neill was happy with the way Cork went about their business against their Ulster rivals and added "we came up to get a place in a national final and we achieved that."
He also played down his contribution in bagging 2-02 for his side.
"I was in the right place at the right time for one of the goals. The ball hit off the post and into my hands. In fairness, the lads out around the middle put in a fierce shift."
Cork's meeting with the Dubs on 26 April is a repeat of the 2011 final where the Munster side staged a remarkable second-half recovery to win by a point.
