Former Meath boss Seamus McEnaney has emerged as a contender for the vacant manager’s position at Roscommon.
The HoganStand.com reported that McEnaney, who was in charge of Meath from November 2010 until August of this year, was interviewed for the Roscommon post last week.
The Rossies had lined up DCU’s Niall Moyna but that fell through after Moyna said he could not commit to the Connacht team.
He has since joined the back-room team of James McCartan’s Down.
Des Newton stepped down as Roscommon manager in September.
