Liam Kearns has succeeded fellow Kerryman Mick O'Dwyer as Laois football manager.
Kearns, who enjoyed a long association with Limerick, has been handed a three-year contract after receiving an overwhelming share of club votes.
Meanwhile, Offaly native Damien Fox faces the daunting task of leading Laois' hurlers forward.
