It has been reported this morning that Mick O'Dwyer’s reign as Laois football manager is over.

The Irish Independent have reported that the Kerryman's tenure with the county ended last night, following confirmation by County Board chairman Dick Miller that they had parted ways.

O'Dwyer led the county to the Leinster title in 2003 and had indicated earlier this year that this would be his last year with the county.

The search now appears on to find a successor.
