Kerry stalwart Seamus Moynihan has been appointed captain of the Coca Cola International Rules side following the release of details ahead of this year's Tests at Croke Park. Moynihan, who was his usual commanding self as The Kingdom cast aside the challenge of reigning champions Galway in the All-Ireland quarter-final on Sunday, will lead the team in the double-header with Australia which will take place at the transformed headquarters on October 13 and 20.
Ireland will be defending the crown which they won last year, with new manager John O'Keefe anxious to build on the successful foundations laid by Brian McEniff and his backroom staff.
The management team also named the training squad today, which is dominated by players from Galway, Kerry, Dublin and Tyrone.
