Darren Randolph admitted he felt like he was in a dream after the Republic of Ireland slayed Italy, as he soaked up the greatest night of his career.
Randolph was used sparingly in the Irish goals as a superb performance kept the Azzurri quiet.
Although Antonio Conte made several changes to his side with their qualification to the knockout rounds assured, Ireland were still mightily impressive, and fully deserved their late victory courtesy of Robbie Brady's header.
Randolph, who showcased some nifty footwork in the Lille pressure cooker, said the displays against Germany in qualification gave Ireland the belief required to pull off the Italian job.
"It's the best night by a long way," Randolph told RTÉ Sport. "It's like a dream, a dream that came true. It's one I'm going to savour with the rest of the lads and enjoy and remember.

"The result against Germany gave us a lot of confidence, home and away. We knew the longer we kept it 0-0 we'd have a chance.
"We said at half-time we'd get at least one chance, we just need to take it when it came. Robbie got his head on Wes' cross and that was it.
"At half-time you think, 'maybe it's not our night' because it looked like a stonewall penalty to me [after James McClean was bundled over in the box in the first half] and it wasn't given.
"But you still have 45 minutes of football to play so you cant feel sorry for yourself. It was a quiet night. I was more tired mentally than physically."
There were emotional scenes at the finals whistle as fans and players came together to celebrate one of the great Irish victories.
West Ham man Randolph was more than happy to give the Green Army another reason to take over the streets of France.
"A lot has been made of the fans," he said. "Inside the stadiums and outside, seeing all the green shirts, I spotted my mam and dad in the crowd as well... it's brilliant to be able to celebrate.
"Hopefully we did them proud and gave them another reason to make some funny videos! It still hasn't sunk in."
