'Dynamite' Keane Barry hits target with Challenge Tour victory

Fresh off the back of winning his full PDC Tour card and claiming a place at the World Darts Championship in December, Keane Barry has won his first Challenge Tour title.

The 18-year-old Meath man won seven games en route to the prize and beat Holland's Maikel Verberk 5-4 in the final of Event 5 in Barnsley. 

Two weeks ago, 'Dynamite' finished in second place on the Development Tour to secure a two-year card on the pro circuit and in doing so booked another date at Alexandra Palace for the sport’s showpiece event.
