Meath's Keane Barry has qualified for the World Darts Championship and earned a full PDC tour card following a successful weekend on the Development Tour.
The 18-year-old followed up his maiden Development Tour win yesterday with another amazing run, again beating standings leader Ryan Meikle in the decider of DT9.
Barry has also qualified for the first round of the World Championships after making it past the final 64 of the last Development Tour competition, which is currently ongoing in Barnsley.
His narrow victory over Rhys Griffin means he can’t be overtaken on the order of merit and will make his second appearance at Alexandra Palace in December.
Dynamite, the current PDC and BDO world junior champion will also be in action in Monday’s PDC World Youth Championships.
Yesterday he became only the third Irish thrower, after Shane McGuirk and Steve Lennon, to win a PDC Development Tour title.
