Mario Cipollini of Italy won the 150-km sixth stage of the Giro d'Italia from Nettuno to Rieti, near Rome on Friday. Germany's Danilo Hondo was second and Massimo Strazzer of Italy was third. Both finished in the same time as Cipollini. Dario Frigo of Italy retained the overall race lead.
