South Africa end losing run against Aussies

South Africa have eventually defeated Australia at the seventh time of asking in their one-day series. The Proteas, who had lost five and tied one of the previous encounters, enjoyed a 65-run victory in Cape Town. Nottinghamshire's new recruit Nicky Boje was the architect of their success, hitting 49 as they clocked up 249 for seven from 39 overs.

Australia's victory target was set at 251 by the Duckworth-Lewis method following a rain delay. And again it was Boje who tormented the tourists, taking five for 21 as they were dismissed for 185 from 32.3 overs.
