Katie Taylor has reiterated her desire for a world title fight in Croke Park, saying it would be "easy to sell".

Speaking to DAZN, Taylor was enthusiastic about the prospects of a re-match with Amanda Serrano, against whom she won in a split decision victory in a thrilling bout at Madison Square Garden last weekend.

"A re-match would be brilliant. I'm up for any challenge, I want to fight the best out there," Taylor said.

"I would absolutely love to fight in Ireland. A big fight in Croke Park with 80,000 people. That would probably be the only thing that could top what happened last week (in Madison Square Garden)."

"Imagine filling 80,000 seats that would be very, very special. It would be easy to sell as well I think."

In the aftermath of last week's breathless fight, Taylor hailed it as the "best night of my career", acknowledging that she never thought anything could top her Olympic gold medal from 2012.

And she was delighted to learn of the record-breaking viewership figures, for a woman's fight, that the contest attracted to the DAZN platform.

DAZN reported during the week that the Taylor-Serrano bout attracted an "unprecedented audience of 1.5m on DAZN, to achieve a record-breaking viewership night for women's boxing."

"It is going to be in for Fight of the Year as well. It was just an amazing night for the sport," Taylor said.
