Lisa O'Rourke has won gold at the Under-22 European Championships in Porec, Croatia.
The Roscommon native was fighting in the light-middleweight final on Tuesday against Daria Parada of Poland.
The Castlerea BC fighter, whose sister is Tokyo 2020 Olympian Aoife O'Rourke, won by split decision, 4-1 on the judges' scoring cards.
O'Rourke was the first of three Team Ireland fighters vying for gold medals on Tuesday with Niamh Fay involved set to be involved in a bantamweight decider against Italy's Sharon Prisco and middleweight Aoibhe Carabin up against Ukrainian Karolina Makhno in a middleweight final during the evening session.
