The 23-year-old European champion faces Murodjon Akhmadaliev of Uzbekistan in this evening's session.
Middleweight bronze medalist Michael O'Reilly will box off against Egypt's Abdin Kosam with the winner securing a place at next year's Olympic Games in Rio.
