Andrew Coscoran claimed a stunning victory in the men's mile at the World Indoor Tour meeting in New York.
The Balbriggan native recorded a time of 3:53.64 which makes it the sixth fastest Irish indoor time ever across the distance.
The Tokyo Olympian finished 0.19 ahead of USA's Colby Alexander to claim the victory at the Ocean Breeze Athletics Complex, while Luke McCann made it two Irishmen on the podium with an impressive third place finish in a time of 3:53.87.
Last week at the Millrose Games in New York - the first event he had targeted for 2022 - Coscoran finished 12th in the indoor mile in a time of 4:03.81.
