The duo went one better than their silver at last year's World Cup afterwards.
"We finally got gold. It's brilliant, amazing, fantastic," Coyle said.
"To go that one better is pretty sweet," agreed Lanigan O'Keeffe. "Last year we were delighted with the silvers but we were hungry for the gold so it's class getting it."
