At the Irish International Badminton Championships in Baldoyle, England's Michael Edge beat fellow countryman and Number 1 Seed, Mark Constable, in three sets to take the mens' singles title. Scotland's Yuan Gao won the womens' title.
Earlier, the English pairing of Sarah Hardacre and Emma Chassin took the womens' doubles crown. Scotland’s Alastair Gatt and Craig Robertson won the mens' doubles. Number 1 seeds, Russell and Kirsteen McEwan, of Scotland, won the mixed doubles.
