Thomas Friedman from the New York Times spoke with Cormac Ó’hEadhra on the Today programme and provided some insight in to the buzz words of the moment – Alternative Facts.

Thomas explains that, since 2007, accelerated growth in technology and ‘connected living’ has transformed our world but is creating new challenges, particularly surrounding the issue of ethics.

“I can say anything fact-wise in cyberspace and who can check or challenge? I can’t do that on the front page of the New York Times.”
