To all appearances, Richard Hayes was a man who kept to himself. A family man, an academic, a librarian. But that wasn't the whole story.
At the dawn of WWII, Richard Hayes got a fateful knock on the door. The war was endangering Ireland's national security and the Taoiseach wanted Richard to lead a team of cryptanalysts to crack Nazi codes.
Hayes possessed a "genius" ability when it came to Mathematics and Linguistics, which was soon tested by the infamous "Görtz Cipher", with Görtz himself entering the fray, parachuting into Dublin to spy on the proceedings. But who will win the day? The librarian or the spy?
