Ray D'Arcy spoke with campaigner and mum of 2, Vicky Phelan, following the announcement that she was named as one of the 100 most inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2018.
Vicky revealed her happiness at being included on the list, and surprise when she read the names of the other women chosen by the BBC.
"I was absolutely flabbergasted, I thought they were just 'unknowns' you know – people like me. To see that there were Nobel winning women… the Secretary-General of the United Nations… I couldn't believe it"
Vicky has been a key figure in campaigning following the cervical check screening scandal which revealed she, and hundreds of other women were given incorrect smear test results.
