Watch: 'Beaver Moon' to be visible to stargazers

The largest and brightest supermoon of the year will be visible to stargazers over the next couple of nights.

A supermoon happens when a full moon occurs while the moon is at its closest point to Earth.

The Beaver Moon - a full moon that occurs in November - originates from Native American cultures.

It will be visible between tonight and Thursday night.
