US President Donald Trump has been given a new nickname - "Daddy" - by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Mr Rutte likened Mr Trump to a father intervening in a schoolyard fight after the US leader used a profanity when describing the war between Israel and Iran.
The two leaders were joking ahead of a NATO summit in The Hague when President Trump repeated his analogy of the two countries being like squabbling children.
"They've had a big fight, like two kids in a schoolyard," he said.
"You know, they fight like hell. You can't stop them. Let them fight for about two, three minutes, then it's easier to stop," he added.
Mr Rutte responded: "And then Daddy has to sometimes use strong language" - in reference to Mr Trump's expletive-laced outburst as he departed the US for the summit, visibly angry at the prospect of the Iran-Israel ceasefire breaking down.
