Police investigate attempted murder after man stabbed at London mosque

A man has been stabbed at a mosque in northwest London.

Police were called to London Central Mosque near Regent's Park where a man aged in his 70s was found with non-life threatening injuries.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

Paramedics from London Ambulance Service brought the man to hospital.

A crime scene has been established and inquiries are ongoing.

Police are not treating the incident as terror related.
