Several dogs were rescued from a burning house in Washington DC last Friday, with footage from the scene showing firefighters administering oxygen to puppies.
DC Fire and EMS Department said the fire was burning in a building in the 200 block M St SW.
Eight dogs were removed from the house, including puppies, DCFD said.
One dog, that can be seen lying down and receiving oxygen in this footage, was transferred to an animal hospital for further treatment.
That dog was "lifeless when removed by firefighters," the DCFD said, but "CPR, oxygen and tender loving care successfully revived the animal".
There were "no human injuries," the fire department added.
