A road in the US state of Oregon was turned into a slimey mess after a truck hauling eels overturned.
Oregon State Police tweeted several images of the aftermath of the incident, which saw several cars covered in slime.

There were no injuries after "HWY 101 mp 131 just got slimed", the fire department said in a tweet.
Depoe Bay Fire District later said it was hagfish – or 'slime eels' – that were being transported.
Hagfish are eel-like creatures, which produce slime to ward off predators.
Oregon's Department of Transportation's tweet probably summed up what everyone involved in the incident felt afterwards.
We're signing off for the evening, but I doubt we'll sleep tonight because...#eels
