Seven people have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a 43-year-old man in Coleraine, Co Derry.

Wayne Reid was found at a house in Society Court area on Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives investigating the murder of Mr Reid arrested a 45-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman on suspicion of murder today.

Four arrests were made yesterday.

The three women and a man, aged between 28 and 41, are all in police custody and being questioned on suspicion of the murder of Mr Reid.

Police believe he may have been involved in an altercation in the area in the days leading up to the discovery of his body.

A 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday remains in custody.
