A 73-year-old woman has died following a two-car collision in Co Down.
The collision occurred on the Ardglass Road in Downpatrick, at around 5.40pm yesterday evening.
The driver of one of the cars, who has been named as Angela Feenan, who was from the Downpatrick area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second car, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Ardglass Road was closed for a technical examination, but has since re-opened.
Ms Feenan's death brings to three the number of people killed on Northern Ireland's roads over the past few days.
Also yesterday, 20-year-old Padraig McDonald died following a two-car collision on the Drum Road in Cookstown, while on Christmas Eve, 23-year-old Callum McVeigh died in single vehicle crash in the Craigantlet area of Newtownards.
