A 22-year-old has been arrested in Belfast in relation to a murder investigation in Dublin.

The man was detained by officers from the PSNI's International Policing Unit on an Irish extradition warrant.

He is due before Laganside Extradition Court later today.

Police said the man is wanted in the Republic to stand trial for the murder of a 63-year-old man in Finglas on 26 November 2024.

Anthony Fowler, who was known as Josh, was stabbed to death at his home. Gardaí do not believe he was the intended target.
