A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in which a woman sustained a serious injury.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was found at a house in Dungannon, Co Tyrone this morning.
Officers responding to a call went to a house at Altmore Drive.
They found a woman with a serious leg injury.
Police administered first aid until paramedics arrived.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
A man was arrested later in Armagh on suspicion of attempted murder.
He is also in his 40s. He remains in custody.
