The case of former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson, who is accused of sexual offences, is to be reviewed again later this month.
Newry Crown Court heard that medical assessments and other notes were still being prepared on his wife Eleanor.
Mrs Donaldson, 59, has pleaded not guilty to five charges including aiding and abetting her husband.
Mr Donaldson, 62, has pleaded not guilty to 18 charges including one count of rape, four counts of gross indecency and 13 charges of indecent assault.
The offences allegedly involve two victims and are said to have occurred over a 23-year period between 1985 and 2008.
Neither defendant appeared for today's short hearing.

A provisional trial date had been set for 3 November.
This morning a prosecution barrister said more medical appointments were taking place with Mrs Donaldson this week with reports to follow, and that some of her medical notes had not yet been provided to the prosecution team.
A defence barrister said the issue of the outstanding notes would be dealt with by Mrs Donaldson's solicitor.
The judge said he would review the case again on 20 October at which point he expected there would be greater clarity on a timeline for progress.
