A man has been charged with murder after a stabbing in west Belfast.

The 32-year-old was also charged with possession of a blade or point.

He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

A murder investigation was launched after a man, named locally as Shane Lowry, died last night.

Police received a report about a fight at a property in the Twinbrook area around 8.15pm.

Mr Lowry was pronounced dead at the scene.

The PSNI says it is not seeking anyone else in connection with the killing.
