A woman has been arrested in Northern Ireland following the death of a 55-year-old man in a house fire on Tuesday.

The PSNI said that Patrick 'Paddy' Douglas died in the incident on Main Street in Ballymoney, Co Antrim.

A 34-year-old woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Detective Inspector Claire McGarvey said police received reports of the fire at around 7am on 1 July.

Mr Douglas was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead:
