A man is in a critical condition following an assault in Co Tyrone.
Police said they were called to Main Street in Strabane around 2pm yesterday afternoon.
A man aged in his 30s had been assaulted at a block of flats in the area.
He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
He remains in a critical condition.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently in police custody.
Detectives have asked anyone with relevant information to come forward.
