Two men have died in separate road crashes in Northern Ireland.
In Co Armagh, a cyclist has died following a collision involving his bicycle and a car on the Monaghan Road in the Middletown area at around 2.20pm yesterday.
He has been named as 62-year-old Paddy McDonald who was from the Castleblayney area in Co Monaghan.
PSNI Inspector Cherith Adair said the road was closed for a technical examination, but has since reopened.
No other injuries were reported.
Sinn Féin councillor Ashley Mallon news of Mr McDonald's death had caused sadness and shock within the local area.
"We are all deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death following this accident involving a car and a cyclist.
"This is heartbreaking news for this man's family and friends, and also the wider community.
"I want to extend my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased gentleman."
Separately, a 56-year-old motorcyclist died in a road crash in Broughshane in Co Antrim.
The crash occurred in the Knockan Road area shortly after 6.50pm.
The motorcyclist, who has been named as Philip Taylor from the Newtownabbey area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
