A member of the Armagh squad that won last year's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship has appeared in court charged with four sexual offences.
The court was told that Aidan Nugent denied the allegations during police interviews.
Mr Nugent appeared at Armagh Magistrates' Court sitting in Newry this morning.
The former Armagh captain and member of last year’s All-Ireland winning squad is facing four sexual offence charges.
The offences are alleged to have happened on 17 November during the team's end of season trip to Miami in Florida.
Mr Nugent, from Cullyhanna Road in Newtownhamilton, Co Armagh, is charged with two counts of sexual assault and two of causing a person to engage in a sexual act.
A PSNI detective constable, who is the senior investigating officer in the case, told the court that he could connect the 30-year-old to the charges.
