A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after being attacked by a dog in Northern Ireland.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland attended a property in the Rathmullan Drive area of Newtownards, Co Down, following a report that a dog had attacked a man and a woman.
The injured parties received first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The dog has since been destroyed by specially trained officers.
